I know some people have posted previously about what to do about under eye veins. Instead of going back to respond I thought I'd write a reply here. I actually had the same problem a few years back and it was corrected by laser. I don't remember the name of the laser...maybe photoderm or something like that...it only took like 5 minutes and it was done. Other doctors recommended that I surgically have it removed etc...and then I found a cosmetic derm though my dermatologist. He specializes in veins. If you have any questions I can look back through my paperwork and see if I could find the name of it. I wouldn't do sclero on the vein I don't think. I had a wonderful cosmetic dermatologist who said he had done this same procedure for about 20 other patients. I haven't had my vein come back and it's been about 3 years. It was big a purple and came right after I stopped taking birth control which the doctor thought might have contributed. Who knows...if you have any questions I'd love to help.

    • Someone else asked me that same question. I'm embarassed to say I don't remember which laser he used...I think it was called photo...something. I'm sorry I wish I could remember. I only had to go in and get it done once. Sometimes you have to go multiple times. It only took about five minutes. The vein has never come back and it's been three years or so. I'm sorry again I can't remember the name of the laser. :)
